In 2011, I was getting familiar with Django web framework and it was time to learn how to make a file upload feature into a Django web site. The task was surprisingly difficult and I felt it should not be like so. Therefore I wrote a long tutorial-like answer on StackOverflow how to implement a minimal file upload website. The tutorial became quite successful and has gathered lot of stars and praises.
